Handshake 2.0 seeks never-before-seen images that
Handshake 2.0 seeks business-themed images to serve as stand-alone content or as accompaniment to posts on the site. These images tell the story of a business truth or life truth in a single image, whether through an illustration, photograph, cartoon, graphic, video or other visual means.
If the subject of the image is an individual, we seek a never-before-seen image representing the individual as a) "knowable," and b) distinctive in personality. For an example, see the second image in this post.
All images - photographs, graphics, cartoons, slides, or other visuals - must be original and not published elsewhere. The creator retains all rights to the image, but we want its world premiere to occur on Handshake 2.0.
We prefer not to use professional portraits created for business purposes and published elsewhere and often, i.e. on a company website, a LinkedIn profile, or a print brochure.
For creative reasons - we want only one-of-a-kind work on Handshake 2.0 - and legal reasons - we respect the creations of others and do not want to risk violating restrictions on their use - we do not use any stock photos or images from any outside sources on Handshake 2.0.
Please include no images of minors in photographs.
Please include no images that include trademarks or logos that are not owned by you.
Handshake 2.0 assumes that If anyone other than you is included in the image, you have received permission from him/her/them to submit the image for publication on Handshake 2.0.
Cellphone snapshots and compact digital cameras can create images of high communication value because they capture the spontaneous truth of a moment.
Some of our favorite images are here, here, here, and here.
