Set-up of TypePadaccount, TypePad-generated URL (example: http://sethgodin.typepad.com), and overview of TypePad - 1/2 to 1 hour, on-site with client if located in New River Valley of Virginia, via telephone if located outside the New River Valley. We recommend a TypePad Pro account at $14.95 per month.
Set-up of site-related Gmail account
Site-specific Google search (Allows a site visitor to use Google's powerful search tools to search your blog only, not the entire Web)
E-mail subscription, and feed reader subscription
Final set-up of blog including TypePad-provided design, uploading of client-provided banner logo, and post of client-provided text for first post
On-site with client: Walk-through of posting of client-provided text for second post
Follow-up telephone and/or e-mail technical support - 1 hour

If you already have a TypePad blog, you may want Handshake 2.0 enhancements.

Blog Enhancement Package - $250

The blog enhancement package requires set-up of a site-related Gmail account.

Register site with Google
Set up Google Analytics account to track traffic
Program TypePad such that page order can be controlled rather than TypePad's default of "by creation date" or "by alphabetical order"
Add ShareThis or AddThis (Allows a site visitor to use social networking tools to spread the word about your blog's content)
Point client-owned, desired blog URL to TypePad-generated URL (user name and password needed from client from URL hosting service)

Programming Services - $50 per hour, up to 20 hours per blog

We limit our blog-related programming services for a simple reason. From our experience, the content of a blog - beyond a professional look or moderate customization - has a greater impact on producing results than does its appearance.
