Doing mHealth Business with France

From Anne Giles Clelland:

As a VT KnowledgeWorks member company, I am part of the VT KnowledgeWorks Global Partnership whose mission is to build an “on-going cooperative association of regions building permanent social, academic, and business relationships.”

I was, therefore, honored and delighted to be invited by Sandrine Hart, Senior Trade Advisor with UBIFRANCE, to make a presentation to a delegation of French company representatives on trends in the mobile health industry.  We will all be attending the mHealth Summit December 2-5, 2012 in the Washington, D.C. area. It will be the perfect time and place to start new global relationships.

UBIFRANCE is the French agency for international business development of France’s Ministry for the Economy, Industry and Employment. As the French Trade Commission, it assists French companies seeking potential global partners.

I look forward to meeting representatives from these companies from France doing business in mobile health:

eROCCA designs, develops and manufactures health systems including Augmentative and Alternative Communication solutions, Automatic Speech Recognition for the Deaf, and Assisted Living Facilities terminals. It is an Original Design Manufacturer (ODM) of terminals for medical and industrial businesses.

Europ Assistance deploys telemedicine, remote monitoring and robotics to facilitate the daily lives of vulnerable people suffering from chronic diseases.  Its Telecare Business Unit is focused on senior alert services, social care and home assistance services, distributed through a variety of channels such as B2C, insurer, pharma, public authorities and retirement homes.

Sykio is a France-based software company and developer of Ogust, a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) vertical integrated Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system dedicated to human services and homecare services.

In addition to discussing mobile health with French mHealth company delegates at the mHealth Summit, I will be presenting “The Entrepreneurial Clinician: What Clinicians with Great Ideas for Health Care Mobile Apps Need to Know” during the session What Goes into Making an Extraordinary mHealth App?  Here’s our press release.

Thank you, Sandrine, for inviting me to speak to the UBIFRANCE delegation.  I so look forward to meeting you!
