I accept that a content management system may not excite most people. I concede that I am, perhaps, open to being wowed.
Still, when I clicked on “Edit Block” in iCMS, the content management system I’m exploring from our client, IDD, Inc., and saw all the choices, side and top…
I clicked “Group Editor” first. It’s still who you know! I wanted to see how iCMS puts “whos” together.
Ah, “Add New Group.” People can be put together any way the site owner wants…
…with whatever permssions the site user desires.
We sort of clicked “Add New Group” when we took everyone on Handshake 2.0 mobile with our Handshake(TM) App. I’m sure that planted the seed for this flower: What if our parent company, Handshake Media, had groups for all of its enterprises on an iCMS site? What if all the people on Handshake 2.0 were like the members of a corporation or organization and could add and update content on their own? And what if our other enterprises each had their own Group? What richness and synergy could result!
You’re invited to contact IDD for a demonstration of iCMS, to read our narrative and to view our screenshots of iCMS on Facebook and to read our full series of posts about iCMS on Handshake 2.0. You can connect with iCMS on Facebook and iCMS on YouTube
