John Boyer, Virgina Tech professor and creator of the Plaid Avenger, shares a Handshake 1.0 with Cecile Newcomb, Blacksburg, Virginia Town Council member and Business Director of Energy Check. 

John Boyer had just finished saying, "Hey! I have to get a picture with her! She's wearing PLAID!"
