    I might add that in addition to software products which are virtual, our region has companies which produce tangible products but in a virtual manner. Small businesses leverage local innovation (intellectual property), such as those from VT, to develop new products. Often in the early stages of business, those products are initially manufactured in a virtual way with components being produced elsewhere. As the business matures, the local business can expand locally integrating the manufacturing in our region.
