Connecting People in the RNR - Three Initiatives

Handshake 2.0 brings you the ninth edition of Connecting People in the RNR with Stuart Mease.

"RNR" refers to the Roanoke Valley and the New River Valley of Virginia.

I've "heard" - don't know if it's true or not - that there's an increase in small business startup during tougher economic times. While I'd argue how tough the economy might be in the RNR as opposed to the rest of the country, I wonder if there's a correlation between economy and small business startup.

Nevertheless, there's a need to support the entrepreneurial vision. The success of one benefits us all.
